Micromax Dual 5 Review : Micromax, today has launched their new Flagship Smartphone, the Micromax Dual 5. It’s been a long time we have seen a new Smartphone from Micromax. But like they say It’s better Late than Never. The Smartphone is Launched today by the brand in India. It has been named as Dual 5 because it sports a dual camera setup at the back, which is the main highlight here.
Micromax Dual 5 review : Built & Design
Micromax Dual 5 comes with a 5.5-inch Display and Full Metal Unibody Design and a Fingerprint Sensor at the back. The Smartphone looks premium in hand. The Device seems solid and Micromax claims that it will replace the phone for any damage caused to it within the period of a Year. Yes, a Year that seems strange and promising at the same time. Let’s see if this held out to be true Practically.

Micromax Dual 5 Review : Display
Micromax Dual 5 comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD 2.5 D Curve Super AMOLED Display which also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Display looks sharp, colors look vibrant, accurate, saturation is good too. The Display has a 100 percent NTSC color gamut. Overall, the display of Micromax Dual 5 seems promising.

Under the Hood, the Smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 SoC (4 Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz) with 4GB of RAM and Massive 128 GB of Onboard Storage. The Smartphone has a Hybrid-Sim Slot which means either you can insert two sim cards or one sim card and a micro-sd card. The Smartphone does support 4G and VoLTE out of the box. Here is a Secure Vault feature, where a separate private profile can be created for the primary user which can store private data and can only be unlocked by their fingerprint. It comes with an independent security chip, which is a separate chip which uses EAL 5+ military-grade security for storing passwords and fingerprints. The Company claims it to be one of the most secured Phone. There is also an addition of a separate customizable key, which can be customized for the task as per the user preference.

The Smartphone has a dual camera setup with dual-led flash at the back of the device. One is a Monochrome sensor and other one is a Color(RGB) Sensor. Both sensors are same that is 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensors. Camera features an aperture of f/1.8. There are lot of camera modes to chose from like Pano, Slow Shutter, Pro, Anti-Haze, Macro, and Monochrome. On the Front, the device has a 13-megapixel camera, with a 1.12-micron pixel Sony IMX258 sensor and a flash which offers modes like beauty, gesture control, and a GIF maker.
Micromax Dual 5 Review : Battery
The Smartphone is powered by a 3200 mAh capacity battery with Quick Charge 3.o. Company claims that the the Smartphone can be charged to upto 95 percent in just 45 minutes, and 10 minutes of charging is claimed to provide 4 hours of usage.

The Micromax Dual 5 is priced in at 24,999 INR in India. The Smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 10th April. The Smartphone can aslo be purchased offline from Micromax stores and other offline stores.

Micromax Dual 5 seems good on Paper, but we cannot conclude till we get our hands on the device. Also, the Smartphone seems to be re-branded from the Chinese Brand Qiku 360 which is launched recently in china for around 20,000 Indian Rupees.
