The “verify you are human” loop error is a security tool used by OpenAI to detect unusual activity in a user’s account.

Some users of the ChatGPT system have reported encountering this error and becoming stuck in a loop trying to verify that they are human.

A CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a security tool used to determine whether the user accessing a website is a human or a computer program.

CAPTCHA tests typically consist of a randomly generated sequence of letters and/or numbers that appear as a distorted image, and a text box for the user to type in the characters they see.

CAPTCHAs are used to prevent bots and malicious software from accessing password-protected accounts, as well as to protect websites from spam and other types of automated abuse.

They are easy for humans to solve but difficult for computers to decipher. Some websites require users to complete a CAPTCHA test to verify their humanity before accessing certain content or performing certain actions.

  1. I am having this problem in windows 11 and chrome, your solutions do not apply. You suggest that I click on sign up, but it doesn’t get to giving me a sign up option. You haven’t solved the whole problem, not by any means.

  2. I fixed the darn thing. I had purchased Avast Antitrack. That is when my problem started, so I cancelled my purchase of antitrack, and understood that I had removed it, but I had not. I went into add/remove programs, and uninstalled it there. Poof, problem solved!
