It’s now possible to remove the text from MIUI 14 launcher widgets. In previous versions, you were only able to see the text inside a widget when you added it to your homescreen, but there was no way to remove it after. With this new update though you can long press on a widget, go into its properties, and turn off the option:
New Feature: Convert Currency
Xiaomi has also added a new feature that will be useful for those who travel or have business overseas – an in-built currency converter. The feature is integrated into the MIUI calculator and will allow users to quickly convert between multiple currencies:
Lite Mode added to MIUI Launcher’s Home Screen section
In the latest MIUI 14 update, we’ve added a new Lite mode to the Home Screen section of our launcher. This mode is designed for devices with low-end hardware and limited storage space.

Since the release of MIUI 10, Xiaomi has been working hard to improve the overall user experience of its custom Android skin. A recent code change in the latest MIUI Developer ROM hints that the company may soon allow users to uninstall the Clock app from their devices.
This is not the first time we’ve seen this particular code change, as it was also present in an earlier version of the Developer ROM. However, it’s worth noting that Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm this feature.
If implemented, this would be a welcome addition for many users, as the Clock app is one of the few Xiaomi-developed apps that cannot be uninstalled without root access. Allowing users to uninstall it would free up some valuable storage space on devices with limited internal storage.

Mi Code Hints that Qualcomm’s LE Audio Support will be added soon
Qualcomm’s Low Energy Audio (LEA) standard is designed to provide high-quality audio streaming with low power consumption. The standard is supported by a number of Qualcomm chipsets, including the Snapdragon 845, 835, and 820.
Xiaomi has been increasingly adding support for Qualcomm standards to its MIUI skin for Android, and a recent code commit suggests that LEA support may be added soon. The commit adds strings related to “bluetooth_le_audio”, hinting that the feature is in development.
If Xiaomi does add LEA support to MIUI 14, it would be a welcome addition for owners of compatible devices. The standard promises better audio quality and lower power consumption than traditional Bluetooth streaming, making it ideal for listening to music or podcasts on the go.

Can’t record audio in incognito mode
If you’re using a Xiaomi device running MIUI and you can’t record audio in incognito mode, there are a few things you can try.
First, make sure that the microphone is turned on in your device’s settings. To do this, go to Settings > Permissions > Microphone and ensure that the toggle is set to “On”.
If that doesn’t solve the problem, try restarting your device. If that still doesn’t work, try clearing the cache of the MIUI recorder app. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > MIUI Recorder and tap “Clear Cache”.

As we all know, Xiaomi is one of the most popular smartphone brands in the world. Recently, they’ve added a new feature to their MIUI interface: bubble notifications. This feature is currently only available for tablets and foldable devices, but it’s a great addition nonetheless.
With this new feature, you’ll be able to see your notifications as floating bubbles on your screen. This means that you won’t have to swipe down from the top of your screen to view them; they’ll be right there in front of you. Not only is this more convenient, but it also frees up some space on your screen.
Of course, this isn’t the only change that Xiaomi has made to their MIUI interface; they’ve also added a number of other features and improvements. However, we think that the bubble notification feature is one of the most useful additions.

MIUI 14 Ineligible Devices

Once you have downloaded the ROM file, you need to copy it to your device’s internal storage.
After that, you need to boot your device into recovery mode and select the “Install update.zip” option.
